I've had several requests in the library for a scanner so students can scan documents for college or scholarship applications or something else they need to send or archive. We don't have a scanner in the library, but if you have a smartphone you can have your own portable scanner. CamScanner, Genius Scan and Scanbot are three scanning programs for both iOS and Android phones. All are free but some have Pro versions that you can upgrade to for a few bucks.

The Healdsburg High School Library is now open Thursday evenings from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Students, parents, and siblings are invited to come in to study, collaborate on projects, and use computers. Staff will be on hand to help out. This valuable program is sponsored by the Healdsburg Education Foundation.
